Profile SintLucas vmbo
SintLucas is a creative vmbo where growth comes first. We are a small-scale, safe school where you are seen and heard and where you can be yourself. Together with some 500 vmbo students and 50 teachers, you develop your individuality and self-confidence.
We encourage an open attitude, creative talent and perseverance. The essence of education is that our pupils and staff work with pride and pleasure to fulfil their passions.
We pay great attention to a good general theoretical foundation. Our main interest is that pupils successfully progress to suitable (creative) secondary education. SintLucas guides all pupils to the right place!

Open day
Our open day was on 25 January 2025. Curious about the school? Then come to our open day next school year. We will publish the date on this page later this school year. During an open day, you can talk to students and teachers and ask all your questions. Taste the atmosphere in our building and discover our creative vocational school. During the open day, you will be given a guided tour by a student of SintLucas. You will get to see what our school looks like and where you might be taught later on.
Trial lessons
Trial lessons are intended for pupils in group 7 and 8 of primary school. During a trial lesson, you are introduced to our vmbo. You follow a workshop and in the meantime your parent(s)/carer(s) receive a presentation about our education.

Six-year vmbo-mbo route
Want to get your vmbo-kader and mbo level-4 diploma in six years? Check out our six-year vmbo-mbo track! From school year 2025-2026, SintLucas will start an accelerated programme for students interested in the direction Media Design. This track is for students with a practical way of learning who want to go the extra mile. The course is also a good alternative for the havo to then move on to the hbo.
