Internship

Learning and doing
in practice

In all our vocational programmes, work placements are an important part of the learning process. Good contacts with the business community are essential for SintLucas.

In all our vocational programmes, internships are an important part of the learning process.
During the internship, students learn what it means to work in a real business culture. All the knowledge and skills they gained at school they can now put into practice. They show what they have learned and discover what they still lack!

Recognition of training company

The foundation Samenwerking Beroepsonderwijs Bedrijfsleven(SBB) assesses whether a company meets the requirements to be allowed to train as a learning company.

After recognition by SBB, your company is officially registered as a learning company.

Interns and internship companies have their say

Requirements SBB

To become a learning company, the company must meet the requirements of the Foundation for Cooperation in Vocational Education and Training Businesses so that our students can definitely improve their skills.

Approved apprenticeship companies must meet the following requirements:

  • the work fits the student’s education;
  • an expert practical trainer is present for substantive supervision of the student;
  • the workplace is safe.

Apply for an internship

If you have a traineeship available, please register via stages@sintlucas.nl. We will contact you to discuss the further procedure. Registering as a work placement company does not guarantee (continuous) availability of your work placement. Students choose the company that best suits their interests, learning objectives and education.
