During this training course, you will learn to use the programme more effectively for professional applications.
The training is a constant alternation between explanation, application, understanding and doing. Naturally, there is plenty of room for asking questions. Depending on the time available, there will be room for additional explanations, more examples and even more exercises.
What will I be able to do after Adobe Photoshop training?
After advanced Adobe Photoshop training, you can expect to master a multitude of advanced techniques and workflows beyond basic functions. Here are some skills you’ll often gain:
- Advanced Layer Techniques: You will master the use of layer composites, advanced masking techniques, and understand how to use layer modes (blend modes) to create complex visual effects.
- Complex Selections: You can create complex selections using channels, refined borders and masks, which is essential for precise editing and compositing.
- Non-destructive Editing: You apply non-destructive editing techniques, such as the use of adjustment layers and smart objects, which allow you to adjust edits without damaging the original image.
- Expert-level Retouching: You master advanced retouching techniques for portraits and landscapes, such as frequency separation and dodge & burn techniques.
- Vector tools: You can work with vector-based tools such as the pen and shape tools to create scalable graphics.
- Using Camera RAW and HDR: You can process and edit RAW images for maximum image quality and know how to compose and edit HDR (High Dynamic Range) images.
- Advanced Colour Management: You have knowledge of colour management and profiles, which is essential for accurate reproduction of colours in print and on different devices.
- Automation and Scripting: You can record and edit actions to automate repetitive tasks, and you may have basic knowledge of scripting in Photoshop for even more advanced automation.
- 3D and Animation: Depending on the version of Photoshop and the depth of your course, you can also edit 3D models and create simple animations within the software.
- Creative Composition: You have the skill to create creative compositions by merging different images and elements into a coherent whole.
- Advanced Filtering: You have mastered the use of advanced filters and can adjust and combine filter galleries for special effects.
- Print Preparation and Output: You know how to prepare images for professional print work, including understanding resolution, colour separations and using appropriate file formats.
Advanced training in Photoshop thus enables you to carry out complex projects and edits and provides a foundation for creative expression and professional application in various disciplines such as photography, graphic design, web design and more.
