Managers exhibiting? Yes indeed!

This exhibition brings together the skills of arranging and creative thinking. For the subject Creativity, students have put together an exhibition with a variety of concepts focusing on social or personal issues that touch and inspire us.
The students themselves determined the themes and gave their own creative interpretation to them. In this, you can see that the themes in society go hand in hand with what touches students. The exhibition of the Media and Event Management programme can be seen in Boxtel from 24 January to 31 January. Below is a selection of the students’ work:
Stuud. talk by Floor de Jong
Student life is a matter of trial and error, but talking about it; ho! Many students experience stress, which seems to be a big taboo these days. Some find it scary and embarrassed to fall over, while others find it hard to get up. Studying without unhealthy stress and expectations is not easy. The taboo of talking about stress needs to come off. How much pressure is there on a student and what are the consequences? Stuud.Praat magazine is a magazine focusing on students with stress. At this age, you have a lot to deal with. So much changes, you experience a lot of stress and new developments in life. The social pressure on parents to raise their children perfectly is recognisable to many. That is why Stuud.Praat is interesting for students, but also highly recommended for parents.

Art is something in which we can express ourselves as human beings and be ourselves. It seems like a kind of free universe, a limitless universe. Everyone deserves a limitless universe; an imagination that extends beyond your very first thoughts. This is what Art Kidt was created for. Young children are given the opportunity to get in touch with art in a fun and playful way through the kit at primary school. Through short presentations, videos and our own artworks, we stimulate the child’s brain in different ways. It improves imagination, emotional skills and more creative thinking.
Preconceptions by Anne van der Heijden
Prejudice breeds violence and fear. We live in a world where it is the norm for straight men not to (be allowed to) wear make-up. If you do try to express yourself creatively with make-up, chances are you will be beaten up or scolded. Even in the Netherlands, this still happens very often.
We understand hearing impaired by Joy van Herk
With this concept, I want to show people what it is like to have bad hearing. I was inspired by the doctor who operated on me no less than nine times and where I still come. Doctor Stokroos told my parents in the years when I was too young to indicate how bad my hearing was that I hear like I live underwater. I hear someone saying something, but I don’t know what or where it is coming from. This gave me the idea of the fishbowl, because this is underwater and so linking to what Doctor Holly told me. In addition, I compare my hearing to the hearing of a fish. Fish can hear frequencies but not literally what someone is saying and understand it. Through the roses, I want to give credit to Doctor Hollyhock’, this project is inspired by him.
